Your products, documents and contracts stay on your phone: they are not transmitted to us and are not stored on our servers. DiSafe needs no internet connection to manage your documents; the internet is used for the features related to the subscription and the app store. See the privacy policy.
Moving to a new phone: on Android the data is deliberately kept out of the Google backup, because identity documents are involved, so it does not travel on its own. On iPhone it is included in the iCloud backup if you have it on. Either way, the reliable route is Settings → Create backup, which produces an encrypted file you can put wherever you like and restore on the new phone.
If you lose the backup password, that file cannot be opened by anyone, ourselves included. Keep the password somewhere separate from the file.

Umzug auf ein neues Handy: unter Android sind die Daten bewusst von der Google-Sicherung ausgenommen, weil es um Ausweisdokumente geht, sie wandern also nicht von allein mit. Auf dem iPhone sind sie in der iCloud-Sicherung enthalten, wenn du sie eingeschaltet hast. In beiden Fällen ist der sichere Weg Einstellungen → Sicherung erstellen, das eine verschlüsselte Datei erzeugt, die du ablegen kannst, wo du willst, und auf dem neuen Handy wieder einliest.
Wenn du das Passwort der Sicherung verlierst, kann diese Datei von niemandem geöffnet werden, auch nicht von uns. Bewahre das Passwort getrennt von der Datei auf.
