DiSafe keeps your warranties, documents and contracts in one place and warns you before they expire. The originals stay with you.

Who provides the app

Throughout this page, "we" means ARCTIC MAG S.R.L. By using DiSafe you accept the terms below. If you do not agree with them, you can delete the app at any time, and the data goes with it.

What the app does

DiSafe keeps three kinds of things on your phone, products under warranty, documents and contracts, together with the photos and files you attach, and reminds you before something expires. All of it happens on the phone, with no account and no server of ours.

What it does not do

It does not replace original documents. DiSafe does not guarantee that a copy or a scan of a document will be accepted in place of the original by an authority, an insurer, a court or any other institution. Keep the original documents whenever the law or the institution in question requires them.
It gives no legal, tax or insurance advice. The dates and durations you see are the ones you entered.
It does not guarantee that a reminder reaches you. Notifications are scheduled locally and depend on your phone: on the system, on battery-saving settings, on restarts, and on the permissions you grant. For deadlines that truly matter, do not rely on the app alone.
It does not check what you enter. If you enter a date incorrectly, the reminder will be calculated incorrectly too.

Free and Premium

The free version holds up to 5 items in total, counted across all three kinds together. Premium removes that 5-item limit; how many things you can then keep depends on the space available on your phone.

Premium is a yearly, automatically renewing subscription at EUR 9.99 per year. The price shown in the app is the one received from your store, in your currency and with your country's taxes included, so it may differ from the figure above.

Payment and subscription processing are handled by Google Play or the App Store, depending on your phone.
The subscription renews itself at the end of each year unless you cancel beforehand.
Cancellation is done in your store account, not in the app. To avoid the next charge, cancel within the period indicated by Google Play or the App Store. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the period already paid for runs to its end.
Refund requests for payments processed through Google Play or the App Store are handled through that store, according to its procedures and applicable law.

When Premium ends, nothing is deleted. Everything you saved stays readable, searchable, editable and exportable. Only adding new items beyond the first 5 stops. Backup, restore and export remain free, always.

The backup password

The backup is encrypted with a password you choose, and that password is stored nowhere, not on the phone and not with us.

It means nobody can open the file without it, which is the whole point. It also means that if you lose it, that backup cannot be recovered by anyone, ourselves included. There is no back door, and we will not build one. Keep the password somewhere separate from the file.

What is up to you

Using the app within the law and only for documents you are entitled to hold.
Making backups. The data lives only on your phone: if the phone is lost, broken or reset and you have no backup, the data is gone. On Android the data is deliberately excluded from the Google backup, so the backup in Settings is the only route to a new phone.
Keeping your phone locked. Whoever reaches your unlocked phone reaches what is in the app.

Liability

The app is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it working correctly and fix what proves to be broken, but we cannot guarantee it will run without interruption on every phone and every system version.

We are not liable for losses arising from data entered incorrectly, from a reminder that did not arrive, from a lost backup password, or from a lost phone without a backup. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amounts you have paid us for the app in the previous 12 months. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

Changes

We may change these terms where there is a valid reason, for instance a new feature, a store requirement or a change in the law. Such a change brings you no additional costs. We raise the version and date at the top, and a change to your disadvantage applies from the next renewal, not to the period you have already paid for, and we will tell you in advance in the app.

Governing law

Romanian law applies. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you continue to benefit from the mandatory protection given by the applicable law of your own country.
