Terms of use

Terms of use · version 1.2 · 21 August 2026 · for DiBills 1.0.0

In short.

You get the right to use DiBills on your own phones. The subscription is 1.5 EUR a month, taken by the store you installed the app from, and cancelled there too. Your data is yours and stays on your phone; you can export it at any time, free, even after the subscription ends. The app is a household tool, not financial advice and not an accountant.

Who you are dealing with

DiBills is made and published by ARCTIC MAG S.R.L., VAT ID RO48130587, Trade Register J2023003030232, registered at Str. Popasului nr. 78, bl. A, sc. 1, et. 2, ap. 9, Voluntari, Ilfov county, Romania. Write to contact@dimiol.com.

This agreement is between you and ARCTIC MAG S.R.L. Apple and Google are not parties to it: they are the store through which the sale is made. If you installed the app from the App Store, Apple's standard licensed application terms also apply on top, and where they say something different from this page, they take precedence.

What you get

The right to install and use DiBills on the devices tied to your store account, for yourself or your household. The app stays mine; you get the right to use it, not the program.

What it costs and how it is paid

What happens when the subscription ends

Nothing is deleted. The app stays readable: you still see all your bills, all your payments and all your reports, for any month.

Two things stop: you no longer add or change bills and no longer tick payments, and the phone no longer reminds you (summaries already scheduled are removed from it).

The backup stays free forever, with or without a subscription. What you wrote is never locked behind a gate.

Refunds

A refund is requested from the store you paid through: Google Play, Apple. Refund requests are handled according to the procedures of Google Play or the App Store and applicable law. If something is broken, write to us anyway: the defect we can fix.

If you are a consumer, you have the withdrawal and refund rights provided by applicable law. For purchases made through Google Play or the App Store, the request is submitted to that store rather than to us, and its procedures apply as well.

What you do, what I do

Your data is yours, and the backup file from Settings is the only way back that is in your own hands, because there is no server; the phone's own backup exists too, but it belongs to the platform and its settings, not to me. Make backups. A phone lost, wiped or replaced without a backup means data lost, and I have no way to give it to you.

You may not take the app apart, try to get past the payment, rent it out or resell it, except where expressly permitted by applicable law. If you use it other than as these terms say, the right to use it ends, but the data on your phone stays yours.

What DiBills is not

It is a notebook that remembers your bills and tells you what is coming. It is not financial advice, not accounting, and it does not pay anything for you. It connects to no bank and sends no payment order: you pay your bills the way you always do, and the app only writes it down.

Summaries are scheduled locally, on the phone, and can be late or not arrive at all for reasons outside the app: the phone switched off, notifications refused, the manufacturer's battery saving, the clock changed. Do not rely on them alone for due dates that matter. The figures you see are the ones you typed; if you type a wrong one, the app has no way of knowing.

Warranty and liability

The app is provided "as is". I do my best to keep it working and I fix what I learn is broken, but I cannot promise it will never have defects, that it will run on every phone, or that a notification will ring on the dot.

I am not liable for a bill paid late, for penalties, or for data lost without a backup. Where the law does not allow a limitation, it does not apply: if you are a consumer, the rights the law gives you remain whole, whatever this page says. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of ARCTIC MAG S.R.L. does not exceed what you paid for DiBills through the store in the last 12 months.

Privacy

What the app keeps, and what does not leave the phone, is in the privacy policy, which forms part of this agreement.

Changes

We may change these terms where there is a valid reason, for instance a new feature, a store requirement or a change in the law. Such a change brings you no additional costs. We raise the version and date at the top, and a change to your disadvantage applies from the next renewal, not to the period you have already paid for, and we will tell you in advance in the app.

Law and courts

Romanian law applies. If you are a consumer in another European Union country, the mandatory protections of the country you live in also stand, and you may bring a claim there. Before going to court, you can write to the contact address above, and if we do not reach an answer, you can turn to the consumer protection authority in your country (in Romania, ANPC).
