Terms and conditions

DiMeals app · version 1.0 · updated 27 August 2026

In short: DiMeals helps you organise your meals, your shopping list and what you spend on food. Nutrition figures and calorie targets are estimates, not medical advice. The app does not diagnose, does not treat anything and does not take the place of a doctor or dietitian. What you write in it stays yours.

Who offers the app

DiMeals is offered by ARCTIC MAG S.R.L., registered at Str. Popasului nr. 78, bl. A, sc. 1, et. 2, ap. 9, Voluntari, Ilfov, Romania, VAT ID RO48130587, Trade Register J2023003030232. You can write to us any time at contact@dimiol.com.

By using the app you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree with them, do not use the app. You can uninstall it any time.

What the app does

DiMeals keeps your meal plan, your recipes, your shopping list, the prices you paid and, if you want it, an estimate of calories and protein. You can read receipts, labels and recipes from photos. The number of available scans is counted monthly, and the limit included in each plan is shown in the app.

The app works without an account. An account is used to sign you in and to manage the scanning features, so that what you are entitled to is not lost when you reinstall or change phones. What we hold on it is described in the Privacy policy.

Nutrition information and estimates

The app offers tools for planning meals and for estimating calorie intake and needs.

Figures for calories, energy needs, macronutrients, the amounts on your plate and your weight target are estimates and may differ from real values. They are worked out from what you wrote and from general nutrition data, which cannot account for your particular body, for how you cook, or for the exact product you bought.

The calorie target starts from the Mifflin-St Jeor formula and the usual activity factors, and the whole method is written in the app, under “How did we work this out?”. It is a statistical estimate and cannot determine individual needs precisely.

The app is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, prevent, monitor or treat any condition, and it does not replace advice from a doctor, dietitian or other qualified professional.

Weight-loss targets are worked out for adults only. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a medical condition or have had an eating disorder, ask a qualified professional before changing the way you eat.

When the data you enter would lead to a target below the safety limits set in the app, DiMeals warns you and shows the minimum value used by the calculation method. The value you entered is not changed without your agreement.

What is on you

Recipes and what you write

The recipes that come with the app are ours; you can use them for your own cooking, not to republish them in another product.

The content you enter stays yours. We acquire no ownership rights over the recipes, notes, plans or other information you enter. Data is processed only as far as needed for the services you choose to use, in line with the Privacy policy.

Payment and scans

Some features are paid, and the price and what they include are written in the app before you pay. Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are processed by that store and are also subject to its terms on payment, cancellation and refunds. This does not affect the rights applicable law gives you as a consumer.

When something goes wrong

The app is offered as it is, with the care we can put into it. We cannot promise it runs without interruption, or that every nutrition value in a catalogue is exact. If you notice an error, you can write to us at contact@dimiol.com so we can check it and, where appropriate, correct it.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your rights or our liability to the extent that they cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our fault.

Changes

If we change the terms, we update this page and the date at the top. Changes that matter are also said in the app.

Law and dispute resolution

Romanian law applies. If you are a consumer, you also keep the mandatory protection given by the law of the country you live in, where that law applies.

To settle a problem amicably, you can contact us first at contact@dimiol.com. Consumers may also turn, where appropriate, to the alternative dispute resolution mechanisms available through the competent authorities.
